Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform payroll-related functions including but not limited to payroll processing, reporting, audits and maintenance
• Assist the payroll team with the processing of any irregular payments and/ or off-cycle payments such as incentive and bonus payments
• Escalate non-routine inquiries and issues to the Payroll Manager
• Ensure compliance with the agreed processes and identify areas of process or system improvement
• Ability to plan and prioritize tasks and deadlines and successfully deliver against the payroll cycle calendar
• Maintain discretion and professionalism with team members and clients
• Month End, Quarter End, and Year End assistance and task execution

Qualifications :

• Quickly and easily adapt to change and shifting priorities with enthusiasm
• Understand priorities and what is most important to both internal and external customers
• Eagerly meet business opportunities and challenges head-on
• Experience with large corporate payroll processing that includes exposure to benefits and 401(k)
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws
• Detail oriented, exhibiting strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite of software to include Word and Excel
• Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
• Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experienced in reviewing and implementing payroll process control
• Associate’s degree or equivalent, three to five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus
