Essential Functions

  • Support communicating within the department and among other resort operating departments by retrieving and distributing mail, monitoring radio communication, answering telephones, and monitoring voice mail.
  • Maintain the banquet office areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Creating directional signage and filling shifts.
  • Answer and respond to all incoming telephone calls, including associate schedule inquiries and associates calling off for a scheduled shift.
  • Generate and process banquet checks as directed, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Sales Force procedures are followed.
  • Update WorkDay timekeeping records as necessary to ensure that hour worked and service charge distribution figures are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare necessary new associate documentation, and manage Banquet Office Supplies orders initiated by Banquet Department.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of departmental documents such as BEO’s, work orders, banquet checks, purchase orders, schedules, signage etc.
  • Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.

This is a full-time position, and you

must

have available to work Tuesday – Saturday from 10am- 6:30pmÂ

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic computer knowledge and Basic office administration and food and beverage background preferred
  • Ability to understand, create and correspond in English
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload
