• Align threat activity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain for better context.
• Establish feedback loops with MDR and internal teams to refine playbooks and response strategies.
• Support performance reporting on detection, response times, and operational effectiveness.
• Attack Surface Reduction
• Conduct vulnerability assessments under guidance from the security team.
• Prioritize remediation based on risk, impact, and threat intelligence.
• Recommend compensating controls when immediate fixes aren’t feasible.
• Deliver a remediation plan and implement solutions for at least one identified vulnerability.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Cybersecurity Skills:
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST)
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and techniques (e.g., Rapid7).
