Requirements:
- 1-3 years ’related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a warehouse manufacturing environment.
- High School education
- Strong PC computer skills.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack or dollies in a safe manner.
- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Key responsibilities: (Behaviors, Skills, Responsibilities)
- Pick, put away, stage and distribute material and products within the facility
- Conveys materials and items in a safe and responsible manner from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes items to appropriate locations
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence such as size, type or product code.
- Manages & returns excess material working with Department Leads and Supervisor
- Maintain adequate inventory levels and practices
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.
- Perform daily customer and vendor pickups and deliveries as needed
- Perform daily cycle count in raw material warehouse
- Assist in shipping and receiving functions
- Support other departments in areas where Warehouse Clerk may help
- Timely and accurate completion of all special assignments or projects as required
- Ensure Compliance with all company safety standards
- Daily Reporting of time, materials movements, and job assignments
